TREATMENT
Treatment Options for Infertility
We offer a wide range of treatment options which are explained below. The specific treatment options depend on various factors, including the underlying cause of infertility, the age and health of individuals involved, and personal preferences.
Medications: These are most often the first line of treatment. They help in ovulation induction for women and there are drugs which improve sperm production and quality in men.
IUI: Intra uterine insemination, where the sperm is placed directly into the uterus around the time of ovulation to increase the chances of pregnancy.
IVF: In Vitro Fertilization - A more advanced process where the laboratory takes care of the fertilization part. The embryos are then placed into the uterus.
ICSI: In infertility where a single sperm is directly injected into an egg.
Donor Programs: In couples where the partner is unable to produce a viable egg or sperm, we use good quality donor eggs and sperm for IVF.
PGT- Preimplantation Genetic testing: Here, we screen the embryos for any specific or existing genetic disorders before the embryo transfer.
Fertility Preservation: For male and female cancer patients, who have reached puberty and have mature eggs and sperm, freezing is an option after which they can undergo chemotherapy and or radiotherapy that can damage the reproductive organs and affect their chances of fertility.
Surgery: Day surgery laparoscopic / hysteroscopic procedures help to correct any uterine anomalies or blocked tubes. Most often a patient conceives naturally after these surgeries.
Surrogacy: When a woman is unable to carry a pregnancy, we can use surrogate mothers to carry the pregnancy on behalf of the parents. Here again, through IVF, we use the intended mother and fathers’ egg and sperm, and the embryo is placed in the surrogate to carry the pregnancy.
Our experienced doctors understand the unique situation of each couple and explain to them in detail about their fertility issues. Treatment plans are tailored to their individual needs and many times it is a combination of treatment modalities which help them to get pregnant.
We understand the emotional and financial aspects of infertility treatment, as it not only involves the physical aspect, but it is an emotional journey as well. The advanced treatments like IVF can be expensive, hence we provide them support through banks for EMI payments. Our goal is to help each of our patients, so they go home happy with a child in their arms.
